The camera (pictured above) replaces the exterior and wide-angle rear view mirrors, plus the kerb and downwards-facing front mirrors with cameras, explains MAN's UK head of product management, Nick Handy. In doing so it adds approximately ￡2,000 to the invoice for the truck. "The images are stitched into one field of vision view and shown on monitors on the cab's A-pillars," he says. "It gives you a much wider field of vision than you're going to get with conventional mirrors."
