Navigation aids specialist Tideland Signal has supplied a package of safety measures for the Smart 1FPSO vessel to be deployed in the Bay of Bengal by Aker Floating Production for India's Reliance Industries under a 5-10 year bareboat charter.Converted at the Jurong shipyard in Singapore and due to produce first oil in February from the Krishna Godavari basin D6 MA field in 1100-1400m of water,the new FPSO has a daily production capacity of 60,000 barrels and gas compression capacity of 3 million m3/d.
