CHEETAH OIL & GAS is TO RE-enter the Kuru-2 well,located on petroleum retention licence 13 in south central Papua New Guinea.The Kuru structure is approximately 15km long and 3.5km wide with the target Darai Limestone at a depth of about 300m.Kuru-1,originally drilled in 1956 by Australasian Petroleum Company,blew-out at an estimated 50mmcf/d of gas for four months from a shallow depth,eventually controlled by a Red Adair team with a relief well.
