Axalta to build new automotive coatings plant in Nanjing

Axalta Coating Systems has announced that a new manufacturing plant for high-performance automotive, commercial vehicle and industrial coatings will be constructed in Nanjing, China. The facility will be built on more than 170,000m2 of land located at Nanjing's National Chemical Industrial Park. The plant is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2020 with a product distribution centre and initial manufacturing capability expected to come online by early 2019.
