Amajor integrated steel mill in North China, commissioned in 2009, had five basic oxygen furnaces (BOF), each 360 ton heat size, with a total capacity 7.8mm ton per year. Each furnace is equipped with an independent steam generating hood (BOF boiler) and a dry dust removal system.
