Offshore Iwaki Petroleum Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of INPEX, has completed platform decommissioning for the Iwaki field, located 40km offshore Naraha Town, Fukushima prefecture, off the northeast coast of Honshu Island, which ceased 23 years of production in 2007, the only gas field developed on the Pacific Ocean side of Japan.
