NorAsian Energy has contracted Veritas Geophysical(Asia Pacific)to shoot a 400km 2D seismic survey over the Marantao prospect in its southwest Palawan uitra-deepwater service contract(SC55).The Marantao reef,with mapped closure of I50km~2,is estimated to be at least five times the size of the Malampaya gas and oil field reef,which it is on trend with.
