Power controls expansion in Asia

American Electric Technologies(AETI),which supplies custom-designed power distribution and control solutions for the traditional and alternative energy industries,has expanded operations in Southeast Asia with two projects.AETI,with joint venture operations in China and Singapore,has entered into a third and as yet unnamed Asian JV that will concentrate on the service and marketing of power delivery products to the burgeoning Indonesian power generation and oil and gas markets.The company's 49%-owned Singapore partner,M&I Electric Far East,will provide management,sales and marketing for the new JV,in which MIEFE holds a 45% stake.
