PNG LNG secures $14 billion...

Development of the PNG LNG project is poised to begin this year with lenders having signed documents securing up to $14 billion in commitments, led by $8.3 billion from export credit agencies that include US Exim, Japan's JBIC and NEXI, China Exim, Italy's SACE and Australia's EFIC. Project participants include Esso Highlands, operator 33.2%, Oil Search 29%, PNG Government 16.6% and Santos 13.5%.
