Hindustan Oil Exploration (HOE) has commenced production from the PY-1 gas field, located offshore Tamil Nadu province on the southeast coast of India.HOE, an Indian company controlled by Eni through a 47.16% share, is 100% interest holder and operator of the PY-1 field, and its onshore plants, located about 60km off the coast and 300km south of Chennai.
