Daewoo International has acquired certification for three fields in offshore Myanmar blocks A-l and A-3 showing proven gas reserves of 5.7-10tcf of which up to 8.6tcf is considered recoverable.Marketing of these resources to India,China and Thailand is expected to start later this year,with sales contracts due to be signed by 1H 2007 and production to commence within three years thereafter.LNG sales to South Korea,Japan and Taiwan are under discussion.
