Obesity concerns unique to women

Obesity is a chronic, debilitating disease for which treatment is currently limited. Its multiple etiologies pose special concerns for women due to differences in physiology, psychology, and genetics, as well as environmental influences. Within the current research, including expanding areas of genetics and macronutrient balance, the unique concerns of women and obesity are slow to be addressed
