The laser ignition technique is a powerful method of investigating the optimal ignition point in the engine combustion chamber, because it is possible to make ignition at any point taking the nonintrusive advantage. The former part of this paperdescribes the brief review of laser ignition technique. The latter part introduce the development of the ignition and combustion controlling technique with excimer laser which done in the MFL. In this part describes the results of the perfectlynonintrusive ignition of the mixtures and the observation results of the simultaneous linear and planar ignition of the mixtures.
