CGGVeritas was officially launched in January with a new logo and the entire seismic community left wondering how the merger between these French and North American seismic companies win work out in practice.A first impression would be that the top brass is heavily weighted in favour of CGG, but that is probably to be expected given the relative size of the two companies before the merger.
