Philippines Hawkeye-1 drilling ahead

Otto Energy reports that the Hawkeye-1 exploration well in the Palawan Basin off- shore the Philippines has started drilling operations. The Hawkeye-1 exploration well was spud on 31 July and lies in Service Contract 55 (SC55). So far the 36-inch conductor has been run to 1,906m (6,254ft) and the 26-inch hole subsequently drilled to 2,449m (8,035ft). Current operations are to cement the 20-inch casing string.
