Drillsearch Energy has revealed a wet gas discovery with the Ralgnal-1 exploration well in PRL 130 in the South Australian Cooper Basin. “Our wet gas joint venture with Beach (Drillsearch 50%, Beach 50% and operator) drilled the Ralgnal-1 exploration well in PRL 130 (formerly PEL 106). Drillsearch’s prelim-inary evaluation of well logs indicates a gross interval in the Patchawarra formation between 2,379-2,787m (7,805-9,144ft) with net pay of 6.6m (21.6ft), and a gross interval in the Tirrawarra formation between 2,787-2,842m (9,144-9,324ft) with net pay of 3m (9.8ft),” said Drillsearch.
