In Brief: EPA again extends summer waiver for E15 sales

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Tuesday extended for a fourth time a 20-day emergency waiver that allows unrestricted summertime sales of E15 across the U.S. The extension, which was expected, comes after the Biden administration said in April that it would use its emergency authority to RVP rules that prohibit the sale of the higher ethanol blends in many parts of the U.S. June 1 to Sept. 15.
