A short list of four contractors has emerged to bid for the contract to build a US $900m to $1.3 Bn pipeline to connect the Northern Territory with the gas grid in the southern and eastern states of Australia, according to reports. APA Group, Duet Group, Jemena and Merlin Energy Australia made the cut from 11 original interested parties, the Sydney Morning Herald reported. The four companies were shortlisted by the Northern Territory government and will make submissions for the North East Gas Interconnector (NEGI) project.
