Displaying the products at a buyer-seller meet organized by Muga Raw Material Bank, Sivasagar on March 16, 2010 at Sivasagar to create awareness among the stakeholders about different aspects of muga industry. Participants were explained about quality-linked pricing policy, improved reeling technology, procedures and norms for availing credit facilities from NABARD. Urging the reeler community to concentrate on improving yarn quality, participants were advised to improve the coordination between muga rearers, reelers, weavers and other stakeholders of the industry for marketing of their products.
