Outlook on fundamental of automotive engine combustion

摘要

Outlook on fundamentals of automotive engine combustion is discussed. Four important trends, such as direct injection and small sizing, fuel change, combustion control relevant to catalyst, and measurement and simulation techniques, are firstlyoutlined. Secondly, component technologies related to both fuel injection and gas motion are summarized. Finally, future prospects for measurement and simulation techniques are overviewed.
