China market focus: TiO2 Coating companies in Nanjing hit by environmental clamndown

The storm of environmental protection has hit some coating companies in Nanjing, China. On February 3, the Municipal Government of Nanjing announced that it planned to clamp down on 162 polluting chemical companies (the second batch of businesses) by ordering them to carry out environmental protection treatment, relocation, shift or close production. Six coating firms are included on the list and it is yet another reminder that China's coating industry is facing more challenges this year.
