KrisEnergy reports that the Rossukon-3 exploration well in Block G6/48 in the Gulf of Thailand has encountered oil-bearing horizons. The well was drilled by the Key Gibraltar jack-up rig following the successful evaluation of the Rossukon-2 and sidetrack wells. Rossukon-3 was drilled to a total depth of 2,285m (7,497ft) measured depth.
