CIMC eyes Sinopacific

Hong Kong-listed CIMC Enric, a unit of China International Marine Containers (CIMC), has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jiangsu Pacific Shipbuilding Group and SOEG Pte, under which “the company intends to acquire of 63.31% equity of Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering”. CIMC Enric also signed a MoU with Evergreen Group for the acquisition of the remaining 36.69% equity interest in Sinopacific Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering.
