Carnarvon Petroleum reports that the Roc-1 discovery well has recovered condensate rich gas using wireline logging tools - with the well giving a boost to the region’s potential. Wireline logging over the interval from 4,380m (14,371ft) to 4,420m (14,502ft) has confirmed reservoir quality sands with net hydrocarbon interval of 10m (33ft) from the gross 40m (131ft) sand column, Carnarvon said.
