Much better prospects for Two Stroke Technology

At a recent conference on high performance spark ignition engines for passenger cars, organised by ATA in Turin, there were no less than three papers dealing with two stroke engines. One was from Orbital Engine Corporation and the other two from FIAT. Taken together they gave a very good picture of the current state of the art. Karl Eisenhauer of Orbital later expanded on his paper to Cedric Ashley.
