Australia’s Oilex Ltd has started gas sales from the Cambay-73 asset into the low- pressure local market near the Cambay field in Gujarat, India. Average production from Cambay-73 is around 50.5 boe/d, including condensate. “This is the first gas to be sold from the Y zone in the Eocene EP-IV formation that contains 2P gas reserves of 5.84 Bcm (206 Bcf) and 2P oil reserves of 8m bbl, as independently assessed by RISC Operations,” Oilex said.
