Vietnam becoming boom zone for South-East Asia paint

Vietnam is a country enjoying an extraordinary boom. Cities teem with cars and a seemingly infinite number of motorcycles, whilst new offices and advertising hoardings are erected daily, symbolising a new era for the country and good news for the paint industry. This is reflected in data for the sector within Vietnam. According to the Vietnam Paint and Printing Ink Association, the country now has more than 130 domestic and joint venture paint companies. Growth in demand for paint within Vietnam for 2007 was projected to be around 22%, with a similar forecast for 2008.
