MacGregor wins China order

MacGregor, part of Finland’s Cargotec, has won a series of deck equipment orders from China’s Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry Co Ltd. The winches and deck machinery packages will be fitted to six vessels under construction at the yard. Two 100m (328ft) 300-person accommodation/work barges will each feature eight-point mooring systems, with an 85-ton line pull/150-ton brake holding capacity, tugger winches and capstans.
