India’s Essar Energy is planning exploration drilling in India and Vietnam for September-October as the operator looks to raise its oil production. “We will be drilling a couple of exploration wells in Mumbai offshore (India) and Vietnam in the fair weather window later this year. Depending on the results of the initial drilling, we will decide how many wells we want to drill,” Manish Maheswari, CEO of Exploration and Production (E&P) at Essar’s unit Essar Oil said.
