KrisEnergy reports that the Rossukon-2ST sidetrack exploration well to the Rossukon-2 success has encountered more oil shows. Rossukon-2ST was drilled to a total depth of 2,216m (7,270ft) measured depth at a deviation of 57°. “KrisEnergy’s interpretation of preliminary well logs indicates that the well intersected around 12m (40ft) true vertical depth (TVD) of net oil-bearing sandstones and 30m (100ft) TVD of net gas-bearing sandstones, over several reservoir intervals,” the company said.
