Localization and structural features of an antigenic determinant in sea anemone collagen

AbstractA major antigenic site of sea anemone collagen was localized in the CNBr peptide, CB6, which is derived from a central, helical portion of the molecule. Further tryptic digestion of CB6 yielded a serologically active peptide containing 58 amino acid residues and including the only two tyrosine residues of the α‐chain.
