BULLISH growth projections for the Indian economy and petrochemicals consumption have prompted a fresh wave of interest in cracker projects.Almost every local petrochemicals company and some of the upstream majors have,over the last 12 months,identified new cracker projects.But work on only one greenfield project has started so far,and it is still not clear which project will be the next off the starting block.
