The post-Cold War world is increasingly marked by rapid technological change and an intensifying and increasingly contested threat environment. Governments worldwide are acutely aware of the accelerating pace of technological change and are increasingly focused on strengthening and adapting their defences and security in response. Agility is essential to address what is already a rapidly evolving threat, and senior FalconWorks leaders are already turning their attention not just to "what comes next" but to "what comes after next," according to Dave Holmes, Managing Director of FalconWorks at BAE Systems. FalconWorks aims to accelerate ideas that will help to shape that 'far future'.
