'From appalachia to the world' goes to space.

The compact disc recording, "From Appalachia to the World" flew in space for approximately 4.5 months inside the space shuttle Discovery, the International Space Station and space shuttle Endeavour with Japanese astronaut, Dr. Koichi Wakata, International Spaceship Expedition 18, 19, and 20 Flight Engineer. This composition was created by Andrew Nishikawa and was commissioned by the International Center for Medical Technology (ICMT).
