ANOTHER EUROPEAN carrier has opted for the Airbus A220, with Croatia Airlines signing a commitment for 15 examples. The deal covers six -300 series aircraft to be acquired directly from the manufacturer, while the remaining nine will be sourced from an undisclosed lessor. They are expected to replace the Zagreb-based flag carrier's existing fleet of previous-generation aircraft, currently consisting of five A319ceos, two A320ceos and six De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400s.
