Huntsman: no MDI No2 in China but might consider jv

Huntsman is not looking at building a second methyl di-p-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) plant in China in the next few years, the company's president and chief executive officer (ceo), Peter Huntsman, told ACN. Huntsman recently received formal approval from the Chinese authorities for its jointventure MDI project with BASF, which would be integrated with a toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) project at Caojing, Shanghai.
