SK CORP is evaluating construction of a new benzene,toluene and xylenes (BTX)unit,the tota capacity of which would be 30 000 bbl/day (about 1.36m tonne/year),ACN was told last week.A feasibility study on the estimated Won250bn (USus217.3m)Project,which would be fed by surplus heavy naphtha rom the producer's refinery,is to begin soon,with startup scheduled for end-2005.
