General Motors has announced plans for a USD127.4 million investment in its casting facility in Bedford, Indiana, that is expected to create 127 jobs. GM's Bedford Casting Operations will expand its foundry output of powertrain and structural components to support production of new aluminium engine blocks and components. Moreover, the automaker will invest more than USD356 million to build a new engine manufacturing line at its Flint plant in Michigan.
