No dip expected in winter freight rates

Reight rates were expected to remain at their levels of last week until March 2004 instead of softening in January-February,traditionally a period of weak demand,shipowners and brokers told ACN last week.Demand is generally weak in the first quarter,leading to a decline in freight rates.
