ONGC Goes It Alone In Unattractive Environment

India's ONGC has failed to attract international partners to take stakes or provide technological expertise for the development of its most promising deep-water block in the Krishna Godavari basin,the KG- DWN-98/2 block,offshore east India.As a result,the company will develop it alone,with assistance only from consultants.ONGC is plan- ning to invite consultancies such as Aker Solutions,Technip,Pegasus and Worley Parsons tobidforthepreparationofthefielddevelopment plan for the block.
