The shareholders of the 'new' Jesse Shirley, compromise a consortium of Egyptian bone suppliers to the company alongside existing shareholder, Mike Shirley. The Egyptian consortium consists of Lion Glue Factory, Elnegmeteen Glue Factory and Elsabien Glue Factory, all owned by the Elawwad family, three of whom are now Directors and Shareholders in Jesse Shirley and Son Ltd. All funding has been provided directly from the shareholders and is not subject to any bank or other borrowings. Chairman Mr Ahmed Elawwad, had the vision to secure closer links between supplier and customer, ensuring a total link between raw cattle bone and the bone china manufacturer.
