As we come to the end of 2021,1 reflect on progress in the quality community during another interesting year. The future of standards It's been a year of contemplation for many core ISO quality standards, with committees considering what's next for ISO 9001, ISO 9004,ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Progress was made on the revision of Annex SL, with the promise that future reviews will help to facilitate the adoption of a single integrated management system. My thanks go to the CQI Standards Advisory Panel for its well-timed work considering the future of systems standards with and on behalf of members.
