PECR-5:Location To Determine Level Of Interest

The Philippines is targeting to launch its fifth Philippine Energy Contracting Round(PECR-5)on April 25 2014.The Department of Energy(DOE)has yet to state the location and the number of blocks to be offered,but has convened a Review and Evaluation Committee(REC)to'identify the prospective petroleum and coal areas'to be put up for tender,according to an official circular.This same committee will also be responsible for selecting the winners of the round.
