High-speed video cameras are used to analyze the locus of a flying bat in three dimensions. Pulses and echoes detected by the microphone setting on the head of bats are observed using telemike, then these results are discussed with the flying behavior for the several targets. Much information about the echolocation system of bat can be obtained. The structure of information among the CF duration, FM duration, pulse interval, CF{sub}2 frequency, and Doppler-shift compensation are discussed.
