TRENTON—New Jersey's natural gas prices are now among the lowest in the country, thanks to decisions state officials made in 2011. Those decisions created a fairly dramatic turnaround. In 2011, New Jersey natural gas prices were ranked 17th highest in the country. By 2015, they ranked 46th lowest, according to an update of the state's Energy Master Plan by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities and the Department of Environmental Protection.
