Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) announced on July 21 that it had signed a contract worth more than US$200m to provide "an unspecified number of special-mission aircraft developed by its Elta subsidiary" to a member nation of NATO. Although details remained sparse - including aircraft type, price and delivery schedule - at the time of writing in early August it had been reported that the contract is part of a larger deal.
