More PTA in Pak

Pakistan PTA plans to debottleneck its 400 000 tonne/year purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant by 25 000 tonne/year in 2005,the company's chief executive,Waqar Malik,told ACN.He said that although the plant at Port Qasim,Pakistan,has a nameplate capacity of 400 000 tonne/year,it currently produces 450 000 tonne/year of PTA.
