ABSTRACTDysplasia and cancer of the cervix may be related to human papillomavirus infection. To determine the presence of cancer in cases of genital warts we have been using a technique, androscopy, for examining male genitals with magnified lens previously sprayed with white vinegar (5% acetic acid). This paper explores the methods of using colposcopy and androscopy on both sexual partners for a thorough examination of genitals and the anorectal area.
