Gas exporter Indonesia is set to obtain more liquefied natural gas (LNG)supplies from the US.National oil company(NOC)Per- tamina will be taking on a 10-year contract from a US gas supplier thatwillrunfrom2018,according tobusinessandmarketing direc- tor Hanung Budya Yuktyanta in an interview with the Jakarta Post. This agreement will likely see Indonesia contract 0.8mn tonnes of LNG per annum(tpa)–or about 1.09bn cubic metres(bcm)of gas. This will be the second long-term gas supply agreement that Pertamina will sign.In December 2013,the Indonesian company entered into a 20-year LNG supply deal with Cheniere Energy,that will see Pertamina take 0.8mn tpa of LNG from the latter's Corpus Christi terminal from as early as 2018.
