India]s polyester industy may pale into insignificance when compared with its chinese counterpart.but indian producers are quite optimistic about the sector's potential for growth in the coming years.According ot rd udeshi,president of reliance industries' polyester intermediates division,demand for indian polyester - including fibre,yarn,chips and film-will grow by 8% in the financial year 2005-06,the same as in the previous year.
